​Social Event - Beacon Fell Social, Walk & Lunch

Date/time; Saturday 2nd November 2024/10.15am

Come and join other club members for an autumn social, walk and lunch at Beacon Fell. this is always a favourite with club members, obviously weather permitting.

For those heading from Blackpool and surrounding areas we will meet at B & Q Blackpool, Whitehills Retail Park, Preston New Road, Blackpool. FY4 5LU at 10.15am to leave shortly after in convoy heading on the M55 towards Preston and Beacon Fell.
if you wish to join the convoy on route or meet us at Beacon Fell please let me know.

We will head to the main car park by the Visitors Centre. Car parking is £1.

Dogs are most welcome too.
There is a basic cafe or bring your own lunch.

Social Event - Convoy to Wray - Lunch Social

Date/time; Sunday 8th December 2024/10.00am

Unfortunately the Green Laning Day is unable to go ahead due to Rally Stages around Grizedale Forest and the amount of people, vehicles etc. With this in mind:- the club would like to invite you to join us on a convoy to Wray near Lancaster and Christmas lunch at the Bridge House Farm Tearooms.
Dogs are welcome inside the cafe.
For members who wish to eat at the cafe I will need confirmation ASAP ( by 6th November - November Club Night) if wishing to eat in the cafe so that I can forward numbers to the cafe. They are in the process of organising their Christmas Menu which will be available soon. Once I have details I will post them.

For those living in Blackpool we will meet at Tesco Extra, Clifton Retail Park, Sandhams Way, Blackpool FY4 4UJ at 10am to leave at 10.10am heading in convoy via the M55 & M6....we will be on CB channel 5. If you live on route please contact me and arrangements can be made for you to join the convoy on route.
For anyone living near Lancaster we will leave the M6 at J34 Lancaster, Halton heading on the A683 (Easterly direction) towards Caton. There are a few laybys on the A683 on the west side of the road only if you wish to wait and join the rear of the convoy.
